I painted this in 2020 while I was pregnant with my second child. These colors came to me, and as I painted them on the paper I was drawn to how they appeared when overlapped among the other colors. I painted one color at a time, letting each color dry before adding another, so this painting was the type that I started and came back to day after day, until I felt it was finished.
